Chocolate Banana Nut Cups

Today, I am guest posting over at one of my favorite food blogs, My Cooking Spot! I just love Erin’s collection of fun and delicious food and I thought these little bites of heaven would be a great addition.

I came up with the idea of doing bite-sized decadent treats because sometimes one bite is all I really need to fill a sweet craving. And since these chocolate banana nut cups are individually wrapped, they keep me from eating more than my fair share.

This recipe is sooooo simple…I bet you already have the ingredients in your pantry! So when you’re ready, click here to get the recipe and enjoy your little bites of heaven!

Having a hard time pulling up the recipe? I’ve posted it here for you too!

Chocolate Banana Nut Cups

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Enjoy Life semi-sweet chocolate mini chips, melted
  • 3 Tablespoons Nuttzo Organic 7 Nut & Seed Butter
  • 1 banana, sliced

Directions:

  1. Melt chocolate chips in Crockpot Little Dipper or in microwave-safe bowl stirring every 30 seconds until completely melted.
  2. Line mini cupcake pan with baking cups & using a spoon drop a small amount of melted chocolate into the bottom of each cup.
  3. Next, drop a small amount of Nuttzo butter on top of the chocolate, making sure it covers the chocolate layer completely.
  4. Take 1 slice of banana and place it on top of the Nuttzo in every cup.
  5. Top each banana slice with more chocolate and then place in freezer for one hour.
  6. Enjoy right away or place in sealed container and keep in freezer.
