This week I am so excited to share with you 2 new recipes featuring nut butters from the Georgia Grinders, located just a few cities away in Chamblee, GA!
If you’re local to Atlanta and the surrounding cities, you may already know about GA Grinders. If not, let me give you a little background about how the company came about.
Jaime Foster is a Mom of 2 and a lover of high quality foods and a healthy lifestyle. She started Georgia Grinders in 2012 to create extraordinary products from simple, all natural ingredients and began with her Grandfather’s homemade almond butter recipe from the 1970’s (perfect for her little one’s picky appetite). Just 3 years later, she expanded the line to include cashew, pecan & peanut butters, including powdered!

Unlike most companies, Jaime did something extra special and got all of us bloggers together for a nut butter feast! All sorts of fun dishes were created from pumpkin & cashew noodle salad to whoopie pies and we all enjoyed them thoroughly. Make sure to check out more great recipes on the Georgia Grinders site.
There are so many amazing nut butters to choose from that it was hard to pick just 2, but I finally narrowed it down to: Cinnamon Vanilla Pecan Peanut Nut Butter and Creamy Cashew Butter.
The cinnamon nut butter was so incredible that I knew right away that I wanted to make some healthy protein bars to help aid me in losing the rest of this baby weight.

Cinnamon Vanilla Pecan & Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bars
- 1 cup Georgia Grinders All Natural Cinnamon Vanilla Pecan Peanut Nut Butter
- 1 serving vanilla protein powder
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups gluten-free rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon gluten-free baking soda
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Combine nut butter, protein powder and honey together and mix well. Add in eggs, oats and baking soda and continue mixing until all ingredients are blended well. Stir in chocolate chips by hand.
- Spray 8×8 baking dish liberally with cooking spray. Press mixture into pan and bake 14-15 minutes or until top and edges are slightly brown.
- Cool in pan, on rack, and store in air-tight container.
Makes 16 square bars.
