Memorial Day is the unofficial first day of summer so what better way to kick it off then to have a giant feast!

But FIRST, let me introduce you to the Blood Orange Mocktail.
What’s a mocktail? It’s a non-alcoholic beverage that is perfect for anyone, especially preggos like me!
Not preggo and looking for a little fun? No problem – just toss in a shot of vodka to this recipe and you’ll be good to go.
You can serve this mocktail in 2 ways:
- Pour all juices in margarita glass and add in crushed ice.
- To get a really creamy drink, skip the ice and put in a big scoop of orange sorbet instead. Now you’ve got yourself a liquid dessert!
Either way you choose, you’re sure to love this drink throughout the summer and into the fall. Enjoy!
Blood Orange Mocktail
- 2 oz pineapple juice
- 4 oz peach sparkling water
- 2 oz blood orange Italian soda
- splash of orange juice
- crushed ice or scoop of orange sorbet
- Fill margarita glass with pineapple juice, peach sparkling water, blood orange Italian soda and a splash of orange juice.
- Pour in crushed ice and enjoy!
- If you’re in the mood for a summer treat leave the ice out and take a cookie scoop and drop 3 balls of orange sorbet into your mocktail. You can thank me later! 😉
