It just dawned on me that Valentine’s Day is less than a month away! ♥

For those of us on the healthier path, chocolates and big steak dinners aren’t really the best idea. So that got me thinking…What would be a great gift if you’re into a healthy lifestyle that won’t hurt your waistline?

It’s literally perfect!

Pure essential oils do much more than make your house smell great, they also have the power to improve the overall health of your entire body. They can help heal you physically, emotionally and mentally, meaning you’re that much closer to total body wellness.

My 3 favorite oils are:

  1. Lemon - Lemon helps to detoxify your body. As it cleanses your body it supports your metabolism, rejuvenates your energy and nourishes your skin (bye-bye acne)! It also helps to promote weight loss, improves digestion, and can quickly reduce that odor from your gym bag. To get rid of odor drop 5-10 drops of lemon oil into baking soda and sprinkle it directly into your bag (or shoes).
  2. Tea Tree - This is probably my favorite oil as it can treat skin problems such as blemishes, psoriasis, acne, and earaches. It’s also great as a natural insect repellent and household cleaner. For skin problems, simply dab it directly onto skin (a little goes a long way).
  3. Lavender - This oil is probably the most widely used. It has relaxing effects on the body, helps to treat bruising, cuts and wounds, improves eczema and reduces stress.
