Move. Nourish. Believe: Week 1

Once you reach your weight loss goals and you feel like you are in a really good place; both mentally and physically, the challenge is to continue staying motivated.  One of the best ways that I’ve discovered how to do this is to constantly challenge yourself, so this month, I joined my SweatPink sisterhood in the #MNBchallenge by   The idea of this challenge is to get moving, nourish your body, and believe in yourself - and what better way to do that then to compete for a $1000 shopping spree at Lorna Jane!  Each day there is a new challenge posted and before, during, or after we must post a pic to instagram or twitter showing our challenge complete for that day!  Here’s how week 1 (Move) went down:

2/3: Sweat-it-out! -Show us your favorite way to sweat!  My favorite way to sweat is doing DDP Yoga’s Black Crow!

2/4: Change it up! - Sweat a new way! Select a workout from and show us your post-sweat session selfie.  I chose the Everyday Active Workout and it was AWESOME!

2/5: Let’s get planking! - Plank for at least five minutes today! You can split the planks up.  I broke my old record today with a 5+ minute plank!

2/6: Buddy up! - Workout with a friend today!  My little man is the best buddy in town!

2/7: Fave Friday! - Show us your five fitness favorites! Exercises, people, whatever gets you moving and motivated! And blog about your 1st week of the #mnbchallenge!  This was fantastic as I got to post a picture of Diamond Dallas Page, the creator of DDP Yoga, Arthur Boorman - my inspiration in starting DDP Yoga, DDP Yoga’s Black Crow, DDP Yoga’s Hood Ornament on the beach, and the incredibly, supportive teamddpyoga members that helped me get where I am today!

Week 1 was incredible and I’m looking forward to week 2 (Nourish) because nutrition is what I’m all about!
