25 Goals for the Next Year

If you would have told me 10 months ago, that I would feel this good about turning 38, I probably wouldn’t have believed you.  I had suffered a loss, was overweight, depressed, had anxiety, on medication, and was just all-around sad & tired.  But today, I am a new woman!  I’m thin, confident, happy, strong, and optimistic about the future!  As Diamond Dallas Page would say, I’m 37 going on 38 years YOUNG!

So today, I’m setting 25 goals for myself to work towards and achieve in the next year.  Some are fitness related, some family, some health, and some random.  But one thing’s for sure - they will all help me continue to better myself and that’s the best birthday gift you can ever give yourself!

My 25 Goals for the next year:

  1. Get DDPYoga certified & start helping others get healthy & fit!
  2. Experiment with new foods
  3. Stay in touch & visit often with family
  4. Tone-up my body
  5. Do 5x 10-sec push-ups
  6. Build up my nutrition business

  13. Get a physical
  14. Play more with my son
  15. Learn something new
  16. Stop to smell the roses more often
  17. Continue eating gluten/cow-dairy/gmo free
  18. Inspire others
  19. Live more in the now & stop stressing about the ‘what-ifs’
  20. Become a successful blogger
  21. Challenge myself daily
  22. Learn Photoshop
  23. Keep friendships alive & make new ones

Happy birthday! Hope it’s a great one and now you’ll have many many more to look forward to (I just hit the ole 38 this past January myself).

I have to ask though, “Aren’t you already an inspiration and fitspiration?” Those of us who are just getting started or getting up again after falling (like me) appreciate reading your journey.
